Impellitteri - Grind And Bear It (1992)

Como en la cueca, infaltables las vueltas (Baile nacional de Chile). El Regreso de Rob Rock a las filas de Impelliteri, sin duda el vocal perfecto para la banda, aunque claramente Graham tiene lo suyo y es muy bueno, pero así son las cosas, recomiendo que escuchen este disco, sobre todo el tema 2 del disco, que por lo general es el caballito de batalla en un disco. además del tema 6 que es bien pegajoso en su melodía.

Impellitteri - Stand In Line (1988)

Para la mayoria de los fanáticos de Impelliteri, este es el mejor disco y yo concuerdo con esa opinión. Con Un Vocalista Nuevo (Graham Bonnet, ex rainbow, Alcatraz, Steeler) debido a que Rob Rock decide comenzar su carrera como solista, decisión muy hacertada para Rob Rock, pues los disco como solista que tiene son re - buenos, bueno eso era un comentario aparte. Además la llegada de Graham marca un estilo muy particular en la voz ya que es mas gruesa mas carraspera que la de Rob Rock y produce un sonido entre lo crudo en partes y lo melódico, además de fuerza.

Chris Impellitteri formó el grupo junto al cantante de heavy metal Rob Rock (ex-Axel Rudi Pell, Tony MacAlpine, Joshua, Avantasia), con el que realizó su primer EP, que fue titulado "The black album". Ambos participaron en las letras. Rob Rock, en una entrevista sobre este álbum, dijo: "(el EP) fue rápido y crudo, no tuvimos mucho tiempo ni dinero, así que sólo nos pusimos a ello y lo grabamos... La respuesta fue estupenda, porque la gente podía escuchar cómo de directo y energético es". Y lo cierto es que el sonido del disco da la sensación de que estén tocando en directo. [wikipedia.org]

La verdad es que no ando muy inspirado para escribir información sobre la banda, lo que puedo decirles es que es una banda espectacular, incluso en tiempos en los cuales deje de escuchar metal, hace ya varios años, esta banda junto con Stryper me hicieron volver a los viejos caminos de los que no podía renegar.

En Partes el disco me recuerda a Stryper como por ejemplo en el comienzo del tema 2, los voces son de esas heavy ochenteras bien agudas y gritadas pero realmente geniales.
Además yo estaba seguro de que el disco se llamaba impellitteri pero buscando en la página, salio el nombre de relativity.
